🏆 Simple Goal Tracker — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 July 2026
Simple Goal Tracker is a goal-tracking app available on the web at simple-goal-tracker.com and as an Android app. This policy describes what data the app handles and why. The same policy applies to both.
What we collect
- Google account basics — when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture. These are used only to authenticate you and label your session. We never see your Google password.
- Your goals — the goals, targets, check-ins, streaks and "why" notes you create in the app.
That's all. The app has no ads, no advertising trackers, and collects no location, contacts, or device identifiers beyond what sign-in requires.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, servers in the United States), protected by security rules so that only your signed-in account can read or write your own data. A copy is cached on your device so the app works offline; it syncs when you're back online.
How it's used
Solely to provide the app: showing your goals, tracking streaks and progress, and syncing between your devices. Your data is never sold, never shared with third parties, and never used for advertising.
Notifications
The optional daily review reminder is scheduled on your device. Enabling it is your choice and it can be turned off any time in the app.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual active goals in the app at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, see Delete your account — requests are completed within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "last updated" date.
